I havent written in a while. I said i’d stop writing, stop talking, stop traveling and start doing. Well, im doing. I’m doing what I set out to do. And I love what I do. I’m good at it. It’s what I was always meant to do. What I was born to do. Every door I ever tried, every road I ever took, every ocean I ever crossed was leading me to where I am right now. And i’m walking on a dream.
Funny how only 6 months ago I was in search of answers in the jungles of the Amazon. Go back to Miami, or reach for the stars in Istanbul. Now i’m off, flying. I see the stars in sight, theyre shining ever so bright. Im getting higher and higher. But my feet are on the ground and my mind is locked on. Cause I will never forget where I came from. Who would have ever thought that one day Francesc Eser West, would be “Eser West”.
I’m the same guy. I will never change my values. Fame isnt my source for “happiness”. It doesnt rub my ego. The fame just came with what I loved to do. It was never the drive. Now i’d be lying if I said i’m not enjoying it in the least. But I can see myself walking away from it when the time comes. The sweetest part about my fame is the fact that people got to know me for, WHO I AM! Not as character on a film or a show. And they loved me for who I am. Thats the most beautiful feeling. And thats what im grateful for. Anyone can be famous and loved for a character they bring to life through acting. But being on a show where people get to watch the REAL you, get to know you, your character, personality, then love and accept you is an undescribable feeling.
I’ll continue to be myself, continue to do what I do. I’ll continue to be thankful for every moment and every day. I’ll never forget the reasons I began this journey. I’m grateful for what i’ve been blessed with. But saying “Thank You God” is not enough. I’ll show my gratitude through my actions and the life I live. Until i’m out of time..

I am writing you from Philladelphia. I have a 3 year old toddler boy who is crazy about soccer. I wish one day he turns out a man like you. As a Turkish mom who tries to grow a child in US, I always have concerns how he will handle this ‘2 different culture’ issue. I don’t want him to be hurt. After reading your blog, I don’t know why but I got relief. All your struggles and the guy you became today is amazing. I think your dad& mom did a great job showing their support to you all the time. I hope I can do the same for my son when he needs me. Pls keep on doing what you are doing.

When we seen you on TV thinking what are you doing in turkey. Are crazy looking for turkish girl’s. They are not your tape. They are not same like you. Because you living all your life in America right and u speak good English as well. Also problem is not easy for you.
