BOOST YOUR METABOLISM!!!
Here are some ways to help spike your metabolism level to it’s max. Various of simple daily techniques you can use to ensure you burn extra energy (fat) throughout the day. Providing you eat healthy and workout at least 3 days a week that is. None of this will work if you munch on junk and consider walking your dog a workout. Ready? Okay here it goes;
-Do HIIT (high intensity interval training). A form of cardio where you speed up your heart rate for a period of 1-3 minutes then slow it down and spike it back up repeatedly. Works 3x better than doing a steady pace cardio for an hour. This type of training can be done with weights too! If you do this right, 15-25 mins should be enough!
-Train before breakfast! Training on an empty stomach boosts metabolism by using energy from the body’s reserves. So when you down that protein shake or omelet after your workout it’s immediately used as an energy source. That process continues throughout the day. Whatever you eat, gets burned by being used as an energy source. The effects of cardio, specially hiit can last up to 24 hours. So for the next 24 hours, you’re burning baby!
- Supplements are a great way to help the body get the minerals and vitamins it normally doesn’t get with food. There are various supplements you can incorporate to your diet that will go hand in hand with helping you achieve your goals faster! These supplements can come from natural things such as Green tea extract to Super HD metabolism speeders. It depends on your goals really. It comes down to if you wanna get shredded or if you just want to keep a healthy weight.

What you eat and when you eat it is a BIG part of losing weight. No amount of supplements will work unless you eat right and eat smart. You can check out my previous posts if you would like to get an idea of what to eat. There are many diets and meal plans that are made to get you to lose that belly! Now, with that said, let me list some foods that are not only antioxidants, but speed the shit out of your metabolism!

WATER, Broccoli, Avocado, Lemon, Lime, Ginger, Garlic, Cayenne Pepper, Green Tea, Tuna, Salmon, Grapefruit, Unsweetened Oats, Almonds, Cashews, Protein Powder, Cinnamon, Low Fat Plain Yogurt, Celery, Pineapple, Apples, Olive Oil, Beans, Quinoa,
Dark Chocolate, Vinegar, Coffee.
There may be some i missed but this is the general idea. This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t eat anything else or other things aren’t as healthy. This is just a list of the foods that are proven to boost metabolism. So try adding a few or more of these things to your diet. You’ll be surprised how great the results can be!
Bad Habits that interfere with metabolism!
Many of us have terrible habits that help the process of digging our grave with our bare hands! Sad, but true. Many of us don’t drink nearly enough water. Try downing at least 3 liters a day. Stop eating fast food. That goes without saying. Start exercising. Don’t skip meals. Your body will start storing fat every 3 hours you don’t get something in your stomach. Go for small portions 5,6 times throughout the day. And don’t give me that I don’t have time bullshit. I’m sure you can manage eating a handful of nuts while at work or down a protein shake.
What I do!
My day consists of something like this;
Supplements: Super HD (when im on my “serious” diet), Green tea extract, Omega 3, Beta Carotene. And sometimes the occasional vitamin C.
Breakfast: I prefer eggs (4 whites, 1 whole) with some oats or maybe i’ll go for half an avocado. Then I squeeze the juice of 2 lemons and 2 limes, add water and down it! So that’s 1/2 liter of the 3 liters of water I drink.
2,3 hours: Usually im a pig and I can never say no to food so I cook something up. Lean meat and veggies of course! If im not hungry, I’d take some nuts or down a protein shake!
Lunch: Lean Meat and veggies. Sometimes i’d do carbs depending on my training that day. I normally try to get my carbs in the mornings of after training. And 1/2 liter of water of course!
2,3 hours: Protein shake 20g with water! Milk is too fat for me, but if you’re not obsessed about your abs go for milk. It’s healthy and it tastes better! Another 1/2 liter of water right there!
Dinner: Same as lunch usually. And another 1/2 liter water. So with all the 1/2 liters and the shakes, i am up to 3 liters of water by now!
Midnight munchies: This is my nemesis… Usually i’d go for Casein protein instead of Whey or i’d just do some nuts. But usually i try to avoid this part. 🙂
So, there you have it! Now take this new knowledge and apply it to your daily life. Remember to workout 3 times a week at least and drink 3 liters of water a day. You will be leaner, healthier and feel better! Trust me!
